01 · AI transformation

From pilot to production.

Most AI initiatives stop at an impressive demo. We help you pick the problems worth solving, set the right guardrails, and take AI all the way into daily operations.

Strategy

AI strategy and governance

We set the direction with your leadership: where AI creates value, what it may cost, and which risks to manage. Concrete enough to make decisions on.

Delivery

From pilot to production

Architecture, data foundations, and evaluation that let the pilot survive contact with reality. We build with your engineers, not instead of them.

People

Adoption and training

AI changes how people work. We train teams, leaders, and specialists so the change sticks and the tools actually get used.

02 · Cloud transformation

Enterprise cloud since Azure day one.

We have built on Azure since its launch in 2010: first as evangelists for the early adopters, then as architects for some of the world's most demanding workloads.

Architecture

Architecture and migration

Cloud architecture that stands up to security review, audit, and growth. Migrations that land without the business noticing the journey.

Platform

Modernisation and DevOps

Platforms and workflows that make your engineers faster, from CI/CD to developer experience. Modernised at a pace the business can absorb.

Operations

Security, scale, cost

Governance that keeps the cloud secure, scalable, and financially defensible. No surprises on the invoice, no shortcuts on security.

03 · Program management

Complex programs, predictable pace.

Programs across many teams, delivered at a pace the world can rely on. That predictability comes from agile ways of working, not despite them: short cycles, visible work, and plans that change when reality does.

Programs

Technical program management

Requirements, clear scope, and risk management across many engineering teams. We have run programs for some of the world's largest organisations.

Leadership

Interim technical leadership

For when the initiative is too important to lose momentum. We step in, carry the responsibility, and hand over a working organisation.

Ways of working

Agile at scale

We have led and worked with teams that live agile software development. Structure where it is needed, flexibility where it earns its keep.

And when the challenge doesn't fit a box: we also take broader assignments across software development and technical leadership. The strengths are AI, cloud, and programs. The experience is wider than that.

04 · Selected work

What we have delivered.

The route has already been walked: from Azure day one to today's AI programs. Every point on the line is an engagement that delivered.

Azure · 2010 to today

Enterprise cloud on Azure, since day one

On Azure since the 2010 launch: first as an evangelist for early adopters, later as an architect for complex enterprise workloads. Led global advisory programs delivering secure, scalable solutions to Microsoft's own engineering standards.

Microsoft, IO Interactive, Kiloo, E.ON, Shell, BP

Program management · 2018 to 2022

Delivery across teams, at global scale

Drove program and project management with some of Microsoft's largest customers. Requirements, clear scope, and risk management across many engineering teams, delivered at a predictable pace.

Microsoft, Siemens, Procter & Gamble, Equinor, Vestas

DevOps · Culture · 2023 to 2024

DevOps transformation where IT meets engineering

Built a shared DevOps culture between IT and engineering. Combined leadership and technical depth to improve developer experience, simplify workflows, and support the goals of the business.

AI · R&D · 2024 to 2025

AI as an accelerator in R&D

Led the adoption of AI in an R&D organisation building both hardware and software. Focused on quality, faster workflows, and innovation, working closely with the leadership team to tie every initiative to strategy.

05 · Speaking and training

Knowledge that spreads.

Keynotes and hands-on AI and cloud workshops that make teams want to build the next morning. From inspiration for the whole organisation to practical sessions for engineering teams, half a day or a full day.

06 · About MKLab

My name is Kristofer.

I have worked in technology for three decades, seventeen of those years at Microsoft, where I led large-scale AI and cloud programs for some of the world's largest organisations. Staying at the front of technology isn't a job requirement for me. It's the most fun I know.

I have always wanted to lead in a way that makes people want to follow, not because they have to but because it feels right. I'm clear, supportive, and pedagogical, and few things beat the moment when something clicks for someone else.

At the same time I stay close to the work itself. I thrive in architecture discussions, in platform work, and side by side with engineers. But technology is about people. We are people first, and that insight is usually what separates a good solution from a great one.

01

Start with why

No program survives an unclear why. Everyone involved should be able to say what we are doing and why it matters, before we spend your money.

02

Technology serves people

We build for the people who will use, run, and live with what we deliver. That is what makes the change stick.

03

Measurable results

On time, on budget, and visible in the numbers your business actually cares about.
